Y. J. Cho's Wall

"Ms. Y.J. Cho holds an unusual curiosity in bricks and stones, and the lines, cracks, stains and other flaws that appear in walls through the passage of time. Others may consider such objects as ordinary, and undeserving of any attention, and yet, Ms. Cho is able to sense within those objects an infinite number of untold tales. She is then able to create from her observations, stroke by stroke, a magnificently quilted work of art."

by Prof. Wan Qingli(Director of Academy of Visual Arts, HKBU)
